The Power of Positive Attitude

Positive attitude will always win.

Your attitude is the way you react to circumstances and situation. It is your unique way of seeing life or things. Your attitude is your way of thinking or feeling about something or incidents. It is your perception of life or events and the way you react to your perception of such events.

You can exhibit Positive or Negative attitude or the combination of both . The collection of your attitude defines your character. Most people exhibit the combination of both, but that one that is dominant defines their character. Therefore your attitude can contribute to your personality, or simply put, your attitude can identify you since it defines your character.

Your character is a form of your identity, and it has to do with your mental and moral qualities which are peculiar to your personality. Your character defines who you are, this is why the Bible says that by their fruits you shall know them. In other words, by their character, you shall identify them.

How you approach any situation in life whether good or bad, difficulty or growth, love or hate will determine your outcome, whether it will end in success or in failure. No situation in life is beyond God’s intervention, what makes the difference is where your confidence is, whether in God or in man or material possessions. God will always provide and protect those whose confidence are fixed in Him. God cares for you, if you have not been winning, you need a change of attitude.

So whether you win or fail in life is dependent on your attitude towards circumstances of life. How you see and approach things matter a lot and this determines if you will win or fail. With a positive attitude, you can choose to see success where others see failure and defeat. You can choose to be happy where everyone expects you to be sad. It is all about your approach towards life.

The Bible is teaching us to cultivate positive attitude at all time because with positive attitude, you will always receive from God. Positive attitude is a sign of faith and confidence in God. It makes you see hope where others see hopelessness, it makes you see victory when all odds are against you, it make you feel and show love when you are surrounded by hate and neglect, it makes you see success when there seems to be no chance of succeeding, it make you a winner, a champion, a victor, a success and in control.

This is why the bible says, let the poor say that I am rich and let the weak say that I am strong. It says that we should say that there is lifting up when there is casting down: no matter what happens in life, you must keep a positive attitude because nothing can defeat the power of positive attitude. God created the Heaven and the Earth out of nothing with the power of positive attitude. These are all powers of positive attitude: love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, humility, temperance, gentleness, faith, moderation, kindness, forgiveness, cheerfulness, thanksgiving, appreciation, gratitude, mercy, kindness, tolerance, mercy, good moral etc. While cultivating the opposite of these virtues are negative attitude.

God expects His children to always keep a positive attitude and be strong in faith, trusting fully in His mercy. This is why He said to us in [Philippians 4: 6-8] not to worry.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

In the face of challenges, obstacles and success: keep are positive attitude and seek the face of God and you will always be victorious. Remember Apostle Paul went through several ordeals, but with faith in God and positive attitude, he fought a good fight of faith and won.

Philippians 4:12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

A positive attitude in a believer will always receive divine instructions and guidance over the affairs of life.

Even an unbeliever with positive attitude can receive from God while a believer with a negative attitude will not receive from God. A good example is the encounter of a woman of Canaan with Jesus Christ, [Matthew 15: 21-28], and also the parable of the self-righteous, [Luke 18: 9-14].

As a believer, you must ask God to help you develop a positive attitude towards life. Once your confidence is anchored in God, you will always develop a positive attitude. If God be for you, who can be against you? [Romans 8: 37-39].

How you respond to life’s problems and circumstances is more important than the problem itself because that will determine if you will win or fail. The right attitude makes all the difference in the face of life’s challenges. A positive attitude will be optimistic and engaging more than a pessimistic withdrawal.

Positive attitude is like a beacon of light that will help you find you way through the dark times. Positive attitude will help you find yourself where others lose it. Wrong attitude handles everything wrongly.

Negative attitude makes kings walk on foot while servants with positive attitude on horses. Negative attitude destroys faster than the problem would.
